definitions with regard to RMA issues
The following definitions form part of LT Distribution Ltd Terms of Trade and will be upheld with regard to all rma issues
Customers are advised to read the following to avoid any dispute, queries with regard to LT Distribution rma process
LT Distribution accepts no responsibility for any loss or profits or contracts caused to the buyer or any third party for the receipt of faulty goods.
The buyer shall have no claim for loss of profits or contracts or any other loss which may be suffered by the buyer or any third party arising out of a breach of warranty.
The period of warranty of goods free of defects is seven days for PC cases, one year for power supply, Keyboards and speakers
The warranty period shall commence from the invoice date.
In the event of any defective goods, the seller shall repair or replace in whole or part (at its discretion) the defective goods. Items may be replaced with a refurbished product.
LT Distribution cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the following categories:
The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer
The warranty label is found to have been tampered , torn or destroyed and the warranty will be void
The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by the company
The goods do not have an appropriate RMA number displayed clearly on the items
The warranty shall further no cover any defect caused by:
a)Fair wear and tear
b) By whole or in part by the buyers negligence
c) By improper or unauthorised use including any attempt to carry out repairs.
LT Distribution will not accept any goods back for credit unless such returns have been authorised (with an RMA number) and the goods have been returned to the sellers premises at the buyers own cost and delivery service within seven days of the invoice date. LT Distribution retain the sole discretion whether to accept the return of goods and whether to issue a credit note. Goods returned damaged due to the buyers negligence (including inappropriate packaging) will not be subject to a replacement during that period.
Goods must be returned to us with an authorised RMA number and paperwork correctly filed out. A clearly recognisable RMA number must be shown on the outer packaging for idenfication purposes.
The buyer agrees to return the faulty goods to LT by their courier and at their expense. LT Distribution are not liable for any delivery charges or the return of faulty goods.
LT Distribution will not be liable for any loss or damage to the returned goods in transit with the buyers courier.
Our total liability to you in respect of any discrepancy in the goods or any damages caused as a result or for any other liabilities will be limited to the full purchase price of the goods stated on the purchase order, this being at the discretion of LT Distribution Ltd.
This contract is deemed to have been made in England and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
