UK SALES WARRANTY AND SUPPORT FOR ENERMAX PRODUCTS

 

From December 1st 2008 C&J Computers were appointed as the UK Representative for Enermax Products in the UK.

From this time we will be responsible for sales of product, product support, warranty and after-sales support for our customers.

We will continue to offer the full range of Enermax PSU, from Pro82+, Modu82+, LibertyECO, Revolution 85+ and Pro87+ and Modu87+. As well as Jazz Enclosure cases, Aurora and Crystal Keyboards and Enermax's range of chassis fans.

We will continue to work with Enermax's UK partners and offer support to end-users and clients.

This will continue with warranty proceedures and C&J Computers will deal with all Enermax RMA Power supplies purchased in the UK.

Subject to this please follow the proceedure below and read the general information for returns of any Enermax PSU under warranty period. These proceedures have been set out by Enermax Headquarters.

All iems are exchanged or repaired based on Enermax decision. Please send in all items with full equipment (especially modular cables). You only get back, what was send in before !

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Since December 1th 2008 Enermax does not operate with an own subsidiary in UK. Since then Enermax is doing the business through the general distributor, named C&J Computers. Our general distributor is responsible for sales of product (to distributor, retailer and online shops) product support, warranty and after-sales service.
All former Enermax's UK customers can approach C&J Computers for RMA and warranty service.
All end customers generally should approach their original dealer for any RMA request.

GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS 

 

Manufacturers Warranty Coverage

 

Generally Enermax products are guaranteed to operate as specified by their datasheet and in the operating environment for which they were designed to. Enermax guarantees its customers that purchased products, which are covered by the respective warranty, to be free from material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not affect the statutory warranty claims, but justifies additional, separate claims against Enermax (so called manufacturer`s warranty).

 

Warranty Service

  

Service will be done in the form, that parts which have defects in materials and workmanship, in spite of adequate treatment and attention to the instructions for use, on our option will be repaired or exchanged. Alternatively we reserve the right to replace the defective unit or defective component by a successor product. Replaced devices are transferred to our property. The return to the customer is at the expense of Enermax. Vice versa the customer is in charge of freight costs to our responsible service partner, named C&J Computers. All RMA returns will be tested by Enermax upon return. If the part is not faulty according to Enermax’s test, it may be shipped back to you without any service, or it may be replaced with an equivalent used or repaired part.

 

Warranty Validity

  

The warranty is valid only for end users (consumers), who bought the original Enermax product from an authorized dealer within the UK. The warranty cannot be transferred to another owner (first occupancy). Service for used bought products without an invoice will be rejected strictly.

Warranty period

 

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase shown on the original invoice (initial purchase by consumers at authorized Enermax dealer). Neither warranty service does cause an extension of the original warranty period, nor does it start a new guarantee. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the device.

 

Power Supplies

 

The statutory warranty period for manufacturers and dealers in UK amounts to 1 year from the purchase date. Enermax provides additional 2 years manufacturer warranty for power supplies only. Overall customers get a full warranty period of 3 years.

 

Cases, Peripherals & Enclosures

 

The statutory warranty period for manufacturers and dealers in UK amounts to 1 year from the purchase date. Enermax provides no additional warranty for cases, peripherals and enclosures. Overall customers get a full warranty period of 1 year.

 

RMA PROCEEDURES FOR END-CUSTOMERS

 

Check your invoice and purchasing date (if you do not have any invoice, no service is provided)

Please ask your dealer to organize the RMA service with our general distributor, named C&J Computers.

If your dealer rejects your request, please follow the RMA procedure explained on C&J Computers` website to return your product. The whole process can be done online and by email. On the page below you find all information you need for the warranty procedure. Please do not call C&J Computers for any RMA requests due to huge work load.

 

Warranty Requirements and Exclusion

Product has to be within 1 year warranty period since purchasing date (cases, peripherals, enclosures) or within 3 years warranty period (power supplies only).

Enermax product has to be purchased within the United Kingdom (England) as a new product.

Warranty period cannot be transferred to another owner.

Warranty is immediately lost, when the product is opened, modified or manually damaged.

If the device is damaged or destroyed through the influence of force majeure or by environmental factors (moisture, heat, electric shock, overvoltage, dust, and so on) no warranty can be given.
